Bootstrap new project

Webcodesk bootstraps a new project in one click. You don’t need to install or configure tools like Webpack or Babel. They are preconfigured and hidden by Create React App which is internally utilized by Webcodesk to initialize, compile and build project.

However, we will not start the project in this tutorial from scratch. Clone or download the firebase_auth_tutorial repository.

git clone https://github.com/ipselon/firebase_auth_tutorial

Go to the newly created firebase_auth_tutorial directory, and run yarn install command in the command line.

Then run Webcodesk and open the project from the firebase_auth_tutorial directory.

Webcodesk will open the project.

After the project is being opened, Webcodesk immediately starts the Webpack development server. However, this may take several minutes when the source code is compiled by the server.

Please wait for the moment when the server started successfully.

Find the Server button in the top left corner of the screen, and click on it to see the server's log.

Once the Webpack server has been started successfully, we can proceed to the next step: Review components and functions.
